time seriously flies. since when is my brother 18 and leaving on a mission in less than two months? and my baby sister is starting high school in a couple weeks? and we've been in living in germany for a solid eight years. WHAT. this isn't real life.
but it is. and i love how life just has a way of working out. it may feel like a total and complete mess in the moment, but you look back and every thing just fits so perfectly into place it's unreal. so, a lot has happened this year. and a lot of it has been scary and kind of nerve racking, but i'm grateful for all of it.
so, quick update.
i go to school at byu. and i really love it. the school is absolutely wonderful and i've made some of the greatest friends and i feel truly blessed. i got stranded at the denver airport and had some amazing friends rescue me. it's so great knowing people all over the world. my family signed up for 3 more years in germany. what's up, 2016?! i got a smartphone. how did i live without one for so long? i went to a taylor swift concert with my best friend and it was possibly one of the greatest nights. ever. check that one off the bucket list. i don't drink soda anymore. and it feels prettttty great. some of my best high school friends are back from missions now. can't wait to see them. cousins are home too! and that's pretty awesome. i was a nursery leader in my ward. legit snack time at church? it doesn't get better than that. i'm officially a communication disorders major. super stoked about that! i'm rooming with one of my best friends this fall and it's going to be awesome. and i just got back to germany for a quick visit and i'm loving every second of it. seriously. it's the best.
and that's my life right now. i love it.
