I love concerts. I've seen most of my favorite artists in concert (including Michael Buble, Justin Timberlake, and the Goo Goo Dolls) and I've been able to add another favorite to that list: Lady Antebellum. I knew that they were coming to Salt Lake for months but I never actually followed through with getting tickets or anything. With only a week until the concert, my friend Jessica scored some tickets and the countdown begun! We started listening to Lady A all the time and we got more and more excited the closer it got. The day came and we were so ready that I think we were in the arena a good two hours before it even started. We found our seats, bought band t-shirts, and we were ready. They opened the show with We Owned the Night and closed it with Need You Now, and they played all their best songs in between. My favorite? American Honey. I mean, all the songs were amazing. But for some reason I just love that one, so when they started singing it you can probably imagine how happy I was. All in all, Lady A was hands down one of the best concerts I've ever been to.
That's right, I'm twenty. And my life has been completely different from anything I ever imagined. And guess what? I've loved every second of it. I've had some pretty amazing experiences that I'll always remember and I know that I've been so lucky to have.
Celebrating my birthday in Germany with my family was complete with homemade Cafe Rio pork salads, Heath bar cake, and more webcam pictures with the brother and sister than I can count. My actual birthday in Utah included school, Olive Garden, fro yo, best friends, family, birthday breakfasts, and of course, Settlers of Catan. And believe it or not, the day after my birthday I was offered a kids menu. A KIDS MENU.
Bryonna & Ryan on my birthday :) After eating unhealthy amounts of fro yo.
